PRSP opens entries for 62nd Anvil Awards, champions trailblazing PR campaigns

The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) officially launched the 62nd Anvil Awards, chaired by Grupo Agatep Chairman and CEO Norman Agatep, APR, on the first day of the 33rd National PR Congress at Solaire Resort North held last September 18 and 19.

Agatep, who serves as PRSP Vice President for Internal Affairs, led this year’s Anvil Awards—widely regarded as the highest honor in Philippine public relations.

The 62nd edition aims to recognize the industry’s most groundbreaking and innovative programs and tools that change the game and drive the practice of the PR profession forward.

Agatep outlined the commitment of this year’s awards to spotlighting strategic work that pushed boundaries and challenged established norms.

“We should celebrate work that does not simply follow trends but sets them, work that does not just respond to change but leads it,” Agatep said during the launch.

The Anvil Awards evaluated programs, campaigns, and tools for their execution, measurable outcome, and strategic alignment. With rapid shifts in media consumption, public discourse, and digital communication, the awards focused on identifying practices that demonstrated resilience and strategic foresight.

Agatep stressed the importance of honoring practitioners who actively elevated the profession through bold and innovative strategies.

“The Anvils should recognize those who refuse to stand still,” Agatep added. “It should honor professionals and organizations who challenge conventions, redefine standards, and push the practice forward.”
